How would you adjust these recommendations for waterbase inks?
Would love this for auto users!!! Please
Great information! I could ask sooo many follow up questions but off the top of my head would you suggest more or less off contact depending on the durometer? Say for instance I had a simple white print block letter “Happy Birthday”. If I was using a 70/90/70 would I be better to have a bit more off contact with a hard flood and sheer (and perhaps a couple of more strokes to ensure coverage) verses a 60 or 70 durometer would I want a touch less off contact in case the print has a bit too much dragging from the slight flex increase (and maybe less strokes or even dry strokes)?
What about wood vs aluminum squeegees. Are they different or just personal preference. Thanks for the videos too!
I would love for you guys to go over emulsion coats. 2 over one 2/2 etc. the best aeon quotes for white prints. Find detail prints stuff like that.
Great vid
Thanks for watching!!
I think you might have a ghost in there knocking your prints off the wall 😂! JK Thanx for the squeegee Breakdown!!
Seems like it! Thanks for the watch :)👻

Total Newbie I am, so I'll be watching this a few more times, great video!
Is there a PDF Manual for this model specific
Very interesting concept. I shall order some of these today!
Very cool. Let us know what you think!
I was reading John Magee’s post about peel and this was a perfect demonstration of how to keep air gaps and get proper peel. I have been a victim to the typical 1/16 off contact (or quarters) and not doing the above mentioned techniques on my R250. I would like to see a visual difference between squeegee durometers and angle if you could please sir.
Good idea
very informative, thank you
@ryonet i have always put a dime on the back where you put the pcs of clean card when i do hoodies. i have my off contact for t'shirts just about 1/8 work great for my 8year old R250 4/6 screen press
You've got your process! That's what it's all about....
I touched the do not touch bolt. How do i fix it now?
wish this kind of info were available when I started with my Riley 250
I swear you must knew I needed this…THANK YOU

What mesh is this ?? Thanks in advance ❤❤
With this bulky design, we used a 156 mesh. If we had more detail we might use a 230
I do the exactly the same thing with the reg marks 1” above and the 4 corners

What is the model name for that Cannon printer?
This is the Canon Pixma ix6820
hi. does the boxfan recuriculate the air inside OR pull air from the outside?. Thanks
It recirculates the air inside. Keeps it nice and dry.
.........................................................got our start on a Hopkins......
Love that you sound pretty chill and easygoing and at the same time have a recent heat branding done on your hand which is hardcore stuff.
Hello thanks for this video, what inks can I use to print on nylon plastic bags...am based in Africa so most inks are hard to find.
I switched from Canon to an Epson XP-15000 and i haven't had to change! It runs 13x19's without a problem! I Only have to adjust B/W Settings and set to Gloss Photo paper! I can still print in color once I switch Back! Epson XP 15000 about $300, Epson Factory Ink about $ 70, and a roll of 13"x100' roll of Transperancy Film about $45 from Amazon and you're Set! Thank me Later 😂
Is it true ink lines need to be purged prior to switching to all black cartridges?
Do they NEED to be purged.... not 100% necessary, but you will have left over ink in the lines before the 100% black hits the print head. So you will not reap the benefits of an all black system right away. To alleviate this, you can print several sheets of paper with a color design until it all shows up as black ink. But purging will make all this go faster.
Epson printers all the way! I bought one Canon and that thing would not print more than half the time without clogging issues or streaks. Definitely worth the investment to just buy a really good printer. It'll save you headaches and time down the road. Time in printing is crucial

I've enjoyed the benefits of all three of those inks. Recently I've been really liking the Rutland Chill series of white inks. Thanks for the education video, always enjoy.
Thanks for watching. Glad you like! 😃
Love some bolt white 🙌🏻
Keep rocking it. Loved that one-hour video of the shop activities!
i cringed when he allowed the ink to touch the wood handle 😫😖 sorry but you gotta be neater than that.
We're going to have to let him know 🫡
FN Ink on a ROQ allllll day!
Heck yea! What do you like about it?
@@Ryonet • Nice and opaque. • Super creamy after mixing it on the RevolvInk Mixer. • Can use a 180 S-Mesh with two hits 70/90/70 and have the perfect underbase. • For a perfect white w/o underbase p/f/p (225S) or dial it back to a 150S and 180S op. • Oh yea and we love the low cure properties of the FN Ink - huge win. • Finally - I cant remember if it was Rutland or Wilflex, you have to watch the stacking of shirts as ghosting can occur as you place each shirt on each other. Another reason why we like FN - don't have to think about that crap. :) All good! We play and have fun with all kinds of inks. Comet is awesome too and we use this more frequently. Thanks again for the vid.
The long body is nice so it doesn't ride up the squeegee
Definitely one of the advantages of it.
